I could not find out my own English level, so we built this
Every free test online gave me a different answer, and none of them explained anything. The paid ones wanted €250 and three weeks. So my wife and I started writing questions ourselves — from phrases we actually heard and used, not from a grammar reference.
My parents still remind me, every visit, how important it is to speak English well. They were right, and this is what came of it.

The test works, adapts to your answers and gives you a CEFR band with the mistakes explained. The pool grows every week, and we are honest that it is young.

English first, properly. The other tracks open when their pools are large enough to give an honest answer — not on a date we picked in advance.
What we will not do
No ads, no selling your answers, no course you did not ask for. The test stays free and so does the certificate. If any of that has to change, this paragraph changes first — before the change ships, not after.
